CHICAGO (Miércoles, 29 de enero del 2014) – Los productos de la Academia de Desarrollo Juvenil de Chivas USA John Hilton y Carlos Anguiano han sido convocados por la Selección Nacional Sub-14 de Estados Unidos para el segundo campamento del ciclo 2013-14, en el que el Seleccionador Tony Lepore concentrará a 36 jugadores durante una semana en Lakewood Ranch, Fla. entre el 1 y el 9 de febrero.  

Los jugadores entrenarán dos veces al día, mañana y noche, con un receso en la tarde para que se concentren en sus estudios académicos. El grupo también disputará un par de amistosos contra clubes de la zona el 5 de febrero, antes de enfrentarse al equipo de la Residencia de U.S. Soccer el 8 de febrero.

Hilton, defensa rojiblanco de Long Beach, Calif., es uno de los tres jugadores nacidos en el 2001 en el plantel nacional. Junto a Anguiano, mediocampista de Los Ángeles, los jóvenes del Rebaño Angelino ya fueron seleccionados para participar en el último campamento de la Sub-14 celebrado en septiembre en el Centro de Entrenamiento Nacional de EE.UU. en Carson, Calif.

CHICAGO (Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014) – Chivas USA Youth Development Academy products John Hilton and Carlos Anguiano have been selected to the U.S. Under-14 Boys’ National Team camp led by Head Coach Tony Lepore. The 36-player roster will kick off the second camp of the 2013-14 cycle by reporting for a week-long camp in Lakewood Ranch, Fla. from Feb. 1-9.   

The players will train twice a day in the morning and evening with an in-between afternoon break to focus on their academics. The group will also play a pair of friendly matches against local clubs on Feb. 5, before rounding out their competition against the Residency team on Feb. 8.

Hilton, a defender out of Long Beach, Calif., is one of only three 2001-born players on the roster. Along with Anguiano, a midfielder from Los Angeles, the young Goats are among the 23 returning players from the previous U-14 camp held in September at the U.S. Soccer National Training Center in Carson, Calif.
