It was a cold and gray day out at Chivas USA training on Wednesday morning. No, the team was not in Salt Lake City, but at The Home Depot Center’s Field 6 preparing for this Saturday’s match against the San Jose Earthquakes.

Starting off with light warm-up exercises, the team then focused on finishing crosses. After a few minutes into the exercise, Coach Jose Luis Sanchez Solá turned it into a competition. The prize for the winning team? A television set will be raffled off between members of the group. The exercise consisted of two teams; the team to score seven goals won the ultimate prize. Both teams had to go to sudden death

Once the winner was decided, the Goats moved on to an inter-squad scrimmage, taking up three-fourths of the field space.

Chivas USA will train everyday this week at 9:30 am in The Home Depot Center’s Field 6 ahead of Saturday’s game.
