Steve Purdy & Marvin Iraheta to participate in Meet & Greet
CARSON, Calif. (Wednesday, March 27, 2013) – Salvadoran-American defender Steven Purdy-Ramos and Salvadoran midfielder Marvin Iraheta will be in attendance at the “Con Sabor” restaurant in Los Angeles. The Red-and-White duo will interact with their fellow countrymen and fans of Chivas USA Thursday, March 28, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. (PT). The restaurant is located at 2212 Union Ave., Los Angeles, CA. 90007, on the corner of Union and 22nd St.
The Rebaño Angelino pair will hand out team jerseys, photos, soccer balls and autographs at the meet-and-greet event. In addition, Purdy-Ramos and Iraheta have promised to give the first 50 people to arrive, tickets to Chivas USA’s next home game on Saturday, March 30, against Western Conference opponent Vancouver Whitecaps FC which kicks off at 7:30 p.m. (PT).
Chivas USA enters Saturday’s match looking to extend its unbeaten streak to four, having defeated the Chicago Fire, 4-1, on the road last Sunday. The Rojiblancos, with a record of 2-1-1, currently sit in second place in the Western Conference with seven points and lead MLS with eight goals scored.
In comparison to last season, Chivas USA at this stage of the 2012 season had totaled just three points in its first four matches, with one goal scored and three allowed.
