Chivas USA’s Ante Jazic and Oswaldo Minda culminate international duty as they continue action in FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

Midfielder Minda will be looking to add minutes to his resume as the Ecuadorian National Team face Venezuela today at 3 p.m. PT in Puerto La Cruz, Venezuela. La Tri enters the match with a boost of confidence after defeating Chile, 3-1, in Friday’s World Cup qualifier. The win allowed Ecuador to remain in third place of CONMEBOL standings with 16 points. Meanwhile, Venezuela will look to move up in the standings as they currently sit in sixth place with 11 points and out of World Cup contention. Minda did not play in the match against Chile, but might see playing time today due to midfielder Luis Saritama’s suspension for the match versus Venezuela. This match will be televised live on BeIN Sport starting at 3 p.m. PT.

Defender Jazic and the Canadian National Team arrived in San Pedro Sula, Honduras on Sunday night ahead of tonight’s match. Les Rouges were able to take a 3-0 win over Cuba on Friday night and with the win to second place in Group C of CONCACAF’s World Cup Qualifiers. Jazic has started in all nine World Cup Qualifying games, but according to his agent Ron Waxman, Jazic will miss tonight’s match due to sinus and ear infection.

In Canada’s last match, Jazic provided two crosses that resulted in goals. Today’s match against Honduras is a must-win for Canada in order to qualify for the Hexagonal. The Canadians currently have 10 points, while Honduras sits in third with eight points after losing their last match against first-place Panama. The top two teams advance to the Hex. This match will be televised live on BeIN Sport starting at 1 p.m. PT.
