After receiving the news that four Chivas USA Youth Academy products had been called up to the U.S. U15’s National Team, the Goats have yet two more players to add to international rosters. Academy players Marky Delgado and Ben Spencer have been selected by U18s Head Coach Javier Perez to the 20-player roster for a training camp to be held in Mill, Netherlands from starting September 6-17. The national team is scheduled to play an international friendly with the Netherlands on September 11 in Groesbeek. Both Chivas USA players will report to camp tomorrow and will travel to the Netherlands on September 7.

Marky and Ben were a part of the U18 MNT squad that travelled to Portugal for the Lisbon International Tournament in May and have also been a part of First Team trainings as well as Reserve League matches and have helped the Red-and-White U18’s make their fourth Finals Week in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy tournament. Marky was signed to the First Team earlier this year as a Homegrown player, making him the youngest player ever to sign with the club.

The U18’s are also scheduled to play in friendly matches against U18 clubs representing Feyenoord Rotterdam, Borussia Dortmund and Club Brugge.
