From soccer clinics to dance classes with the ChivaGirls, Chivas at the Park kicked off its fifth season this year in Expo Park in Los Angeles ready to serve the local community in partnership with the City of Los Angeles Mayor’s office and the Department of Recreation and Parks. The club kicked off the program on March 24 and has so far held three clinics of 15 scheduled for the year. This weekend, Chivas USA will hold its fourth soccer clinic of the year, this time at Algin Sutton Park in Los Angeles.

At Chivas at the Park, children from ages 5 through 15 have the opportunity to train with Chivas USA coaches. Participants receive a 90-minute instruction clinic, one Chivas at the Park T-Shirt, and two tickets to a Chivas USA home game, all for the minimum of a $5 registration fee.

What started as a conversation between Chivas USA’s President and Co-Owner Antonio Cue and Los Angeles City Major Antonio Villaraigosa, continues to be a great sports experience for thousands of boys and girls. In the five year existence of ‘Chivas at the Park,’ the program has seen the participation of over 20,000 children in its soccer clinic series.

Along with the amazing soccer experience, Chivas at the Park feature special appearances by Red-and-White First Team players, ChivaFighter mascot, prizes and fun for the whole family.
