Chatting with the ChivaGirls: Natalie

Natalie talks about her time on “Survivor: Redemption Island” & being a pro cheerleader

With first year ChivaGirl Natalie, there is far more than meets the eye. The Southern California native grew up in her parents orchard, allowing her to travel throughout California’s finest farmers’ markets before she would embark on a life changing experience.

In 2011, Natalie participated in the CBS reality series “Survivor: Redemption Island,” show which forces contestants to find their own meals and provide their own shelter while dealing with the different ego’s of fellow group members. This experience allowed Natalie to travel to Nicaragua, living away from regular population, exposing her to new experiences and lifestyles.

“I wanted to prove to myself that I could do anything,” said Natalie. And indeed she did. Natalie finished third place in the contest, staying 39 days in camp.

Growing up, Natalie always enjoyed dancing, leading her to become a professional cheerleader with the Association of Volleyball Professionals, the World Series of Boxing, and now with Chivas USA.

When Natalie is not working as a ChivaGirl, she teaches dance class to young girls (6-8 years old), likes to watch The Bachelor/Bachelorette, read gossip magazines while snacking on dried fruit or chocolate covered pretzels. She would one day like to go to Africa and go on a safari.
