More than just the results – Chivas USA has one point in the four-team Portland tournament in two games – the observation process in which Robin Fraser has put the Red-and-White squad will conclude, and after that, will have four days to prepare the team for the 2012 season home opener against Houston Dynamo.

The Red-and-White are physically fit, since the preparation has been intense; players are motivated and ready to show the mental and physical condition they have worked on in the preseason when they jump onto the field.

The players that are on the team’s starting line-up against Dynamo, will be, as always, Coach Fraser’s decision, and he has a challenge that he has commented upon based on Thursdays line-up, "We created some good things offensively, I think Casey and Cesar are a good pair in our front, and Juan [Pablo] and Cesar as well."

Today, Chivas USA had its last training session at the University of Portland and is ready to face Northern California rival San Jose Earthquakes this Sunday at 2:30 p.m. PT., at JELD-WEN Field.

After two games, the participating teams are as follows:

Chivas USA - 1 point

Portland Timbers - 2 points

San José Earthquakes - 2 points

AIK - 4 points
