AMSTERDAM — The agent for Hannover 96 winger DaMarcus Beasley is in ongoing transfer discussions with clubs in MLS, Mexico and Europe, MLSsoccer.com has learned.

The US international has a year remaining on his AWD-Arena deal, but the Reds are allowing him to look for a new team.

"Right now, we're talking with some clubs," Beasley rep Lyle Yorks told MLSsoccer.com. "We're in discussions with MLS and there's two interested clubs in Mexico."

Beasley also has potential suitors in the Eredivisie, which he won twice with PSV Eindhoven while scoring 15 times in 76 matches.

"There's continuing interest [in the Netherlands] and we're also speaking with some other European clubs," said Yorks. "Hannover knows about all this."

In part due to injury woes, Beasley was limited to just four Bundesliga appearances for Hannover after arriving last summer on a free transfer from Rangers. Upon returning, the former Chicago Fire star was unable to break back into the selection for the fourth place Reds.

Should Beasley sign with MLS, Chivas USA would have first refusal of the US national team player because they sit atop the allocation rankings. Next would be the Philadelphia Union, followed by the Houston Dynamo, Toronto FC and the Chicago Fire.
