Chivas USA trained today ahead of Saturday’s match against FC Dallas at Frisco, Texas (5:30 p.m. PT), the last preseason match before the Home Opener against Sporting Kansas City on March 19 at The Home Depot Center.

The biggest news today was Seth Owusu’s presence at training after arriving on Saturday. He practiced with the rest of the group and it's uncertain if he will be available to play in the exhibition match against FC Dallas.

“He is still getting adjusted. He’s a smart guy, he’s pretty quiet. He’s pretty intense. He’s here with a great attitude, he listens, and he works hard,” said Chivas USA Head Coach Robin Fraser.

“It’s going to take him a little while to acclimate to a new culture, to a new team. As he gets situated and more vocal because in our position, communication is the key,” said Conrad after practice.

“I feel very good here. The atmosphere is very good here; the coach is very good to me. It’s very impressive to be here. Conrad is one of the best players I’ve seen so far,” said Owusu after training.

Owusu is not officially signed by the club and will be training with the Red-and-White two weeks before the Home Opener.
