Delgado called up for Costa Rican training camp

CARSON, Calif. (Monday, Dec. 13, 2010) – Chivas USA defender Darío Delgado has joined the Costa Rican National Team for training camp that begins today until December 16, ahead of the 2011 Central American Cup (UNCAF) that will be disputed in Panama from January 14-23, and will qualify five teams to compete in next summer’s 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup.

Costa Rica will fight for a berth in the Gold Cup against Honduras and Guatemala in the Group Stage of the Central American Cup. Other national teams competing include El Salvador, Belize, Nicaragua and Panama.
