Chivas USA practiced today on field 7 (turf surface) in preparation for Friday’s match against the Seattle Sounders at 8 p.m. (ESPN2 & ESPN Deportes) at Qwest Field, which is also artificial turf. Today’s training lasted for about 40 minutes in which Head Coach Martín Vásquez tested a few line ups. It is still uncertain if forward Justin Braun will make the trip after suffering a concussion last Saturday against Toronto FC. Braun didn’t see a lot of action in today’s practice and it will be determined later today or tomorrow morning if he makes the trip to Seattle or not.

Defender Dario Delgado and midfielder Osael Romero will be expected to report tomorrow after being call up to their national teams.   Delgado will not make the trip after suffering a right foot fracture against Philadelphia Union three weeks ago.

The team will travel tomorrow morning to Seattle and will try to maintain its unbeaten streak against the Sounders. Chivas USA is the only MLS team that the Seattle Sounders hasn’t beaten or scored upon in MLS play. The Sounders are coming off a 3-1 victory against Chivas Guadalajara in a friendly match played last night.
