Chivas USA practiced today on
Field 6 ahead of  Friday’s match against New England, kicking off at
7:30 p.m. at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif.

After a warm-up, Head
Coach Martín Vásquez put the players through passing drills, focusing for some
time on long passes. After running some shadow play and working with potential
lineups, Vásquez called the practice to a close.

Speaking to media after
practice, Vásquez said that last week’s defeats were painful, and that
the team needed more consistency to get results. He spoke of his confidence
that the players would be able to finish the season on a strong note in the
final matches of the season.

“We have eight games remaining in the season
and we still have a chance to make it to the playoffs, but we can’t get
ahead of ourselves. We have to start by winning our next match, and
that’s our goal tomorrow,” said Vásquez.
