Chivas USA resumed practice today after participating in the
Chivas de Corazon USA’s 2010 Charity Golf Tournament
on Monday.

Training started with a Head Coach Martín Vásquez talking to the entire group
ahead of the SuperClásico match against the LA Galaxy on Sunday at 5 p.m. PT at
The Home Depot Center. Vásquez later divided the team in three groups and
practiced many different drills.

The players seemed motivated to be facing their Los Angeles rival, especially because it will be the opportunity to change the
team’s momentum.

“We all know that this has been a tough season
because we have had many changes, many new players and a new coach, but at this
point of the season we can’t have any more excuses, there’s some
games when the quality wasn’t there, others when we needed to be more
intelligent, we need to manage the games a lot better,” said Paulo
Nagamura, who will play his first SuperClásico in 2010, since he missed the
first one in April while playing at Tigres.
