Chivas USA returned to the training field on Tuesday after
Sunday's disappointing loss to Kansas City, and the team was hard at work in
preparing for Saturday's game at Philadelphia.

The starters from Sunday
continued their recovery, jogging around the outside of the field, stretching,
and then doing higher intensity running for 20 more minutes.

The rest of the
players went through possession drills before playing 6v6 games on a 60 yard
field. Blair Gavin, still recovering from his hamstring injury, trained as a
neutral player, while Giancarlo Maldonado trained without restrictions.

In the
short-sided games, 'Sueno' Flores was letting shots fly from distance, hitting
the crossbar and post with his first two shots, both from about 25 yards. He
made amends, scoring from close range on his next pair of efforts, and was one
of the top performers in the practice. While Flores was the star for the yellow
team, Jesus Padilla was scoring goals for blue.

The Red-and-White will train on Wednesday at 10 am at The
Home Depot Center before traveling to Philadelphia on Thursday to take on the Union at 1 p.m. PT on Saturday. Saturday's match will air on FSWest on a one hour delay, and live on Telefutura.
