The Red-and-White could climb to the ninth spot in the Playoff race with Toronto FC

Chivas USA practiced today ahead of Sunday’s decisive match against the Kansas City Wizards. Head Coach Martín Vásquez practiced with different line ups, preparing the match against the Wizards, who are currently fourth in the Eastern Conference with 27 points, and 10th in the Playoffs Standings.

Chivas USA is two points behind Kansas City so with a win and a combination of results, the Red-and-White could climb to the ninth spot in the Playoff race with Toronto FC.  After training midfielders Paulo Nagamura and Ben Zemanski stayed for a while practicing shots on goal with keeper Kevin Guppy.

Borstein and Maldonado had a light day at practice since they are still recuperating from their respective injuries.
