The Red-and-White continued preparing for their match on Saturday against the Seattle Sounders. For much of practice, the Goats went through a 9x9 possession drill.

While goalkeeper Dan Kennedy did not practice due to a knock taken in the match against Toronto, Zach Thornton continued full training, defending one of the goals in the possession drills.

Forward Alan Gordon was also at full speed, continuing to get accustomed to his new uniform and teammates, admitting to having turned the wrong way down the hallway at The Home Depot Center on his first day with the team.

Jonathan Bornstein was still absent as he returns from National Team duty, and also missing were Michael Umaña (Costa Rica) and Giancarlo Maldonado (Venezuela), who will represent their countries today.
