Chivas At The Park & The Red Cross Team Up

Popular grassroots soccer program will host the American Red Cross at three parks in Los Angele

Chivas USA and its popular grassroots soccer program
‘Chivas at the Park’ are teaming up with the American Red Cross in an effort to
provide hundreds of families with information on how to administer first aid
and CPR. With the summer season fast approaching, participants will also receive
important water safety tips and literature on how to avoid heat-related
illnesses.

Red Cross representatives will kick off their
participation at the ‘Chivas at the Park’ clinic on Saturday, May 15, at
Rosecrans Recreation Center. The Red Cross will follow with appearances on
Saturday, July 10 at Griffith Stadium and Mar Vista on Saturday, August 7. All
three sites will feature live first aid and CPR demonstrations by Red Cross
certified representatives.

The clinic at Rosecrans Recreation Center will be the
fifth in a total of ten clinics scheduled throughout the year. For just a $5
registration fee, ‘Chivas at the Park’ offers participating boys and girls ages
5-15, the opportunity to learn soccer techniques and practice drills that
highlight teamwork, all of this, in an environment that promotes the importance
of fitness for the entire family. All participants in the clinic will receive
90 minutes of soccer instruction, a Chivas at the Park t-shirt, and a

Department of Recreation and Parks.

before returning to The Home Depot Center on Saturday, May 22 to face defending
