The Red-and-White are just two days away from the first kick-off of 2010 and the media is paying attention. Chivas USA's Public Relations department was on hand for practice and had this to report:

Chivas USA practiced today in front of an impressive media
gathering, with about 10 cameras and several other print reporters watching
from the sidelines. The team split into defensive and attacking groups for the
first half of practice, and then came together for some work with a full lineup
ahead of Friday’s Season Opener against the Colorado Rapids. The Red-and-White
might go with one of several different looks, potentially lining up in either a
4-3-3, 4-5-1, or 4-4-2. The practice concluded with some intense, short sided
matches with players getting good work in before what may be a light practice
tomorrow. One interesting addition to the camp today was former Chivas USA
defender Alex Zotinca, who was with the club in 2007 and 2008.
