Second stage of Re-Entry Draft continues Friday

The Red-and-White have the second overall pick in Friday's draft

Major League Soccer will hold the second stage of the Re-Entry Draft via phone conference Friday, December 14 at 12 p.m. PT with Chivas USA having the second overall pick. In the first stage, the Goats passed on their chance to select a player; former Chivas USA forward Maicon Santos was the only player picked up in the draft and will play the 2013 season with Chicago Fire.

On Wednesday morning, the Red-and-White announced Jose Luis Sanches Solá, also known as 'El Chelis,' as the team's new head coach. Chelis is scheduled to be on the call in the event that the club decides to pick up a player.
