As you might’ve already noticed, we really push our fans to vote for our very own Dan Kennedy for MLS Save of the Week. And the upcoming week (we hope) will be no different. So, we’re just giving you a head’s up. Tonight’s result was difficult; yet another last minute goal that sinked the team to yet another loss. But as always, it could’ve been worse if it weren’t for Kennedy’s heroics.

How about this save that Kennedy had in the 42nd minute of the match when the Crew’s Arrieta headed a cross by Gaven? Kennedy was in the right place at the right time to make that save.

So if Dan’s save would be nominated for MLS Save of the Week, would you vote for it? Or do you have another candidate?

If you haven’t seen it, take a look:

Another heart breaking last minute goal in today’s 1-0 loss to Columbus Crew that takes Chivas USA to their fourth consecutive loss. Many might think that there aren’t any positives to take from the match, but how about Miller Bolaños performance tonight? Although our usual candidate Dan Kennedy had a great game, tonight’s CDChivasUSA.com’s Man of the Match is Miller Bolaños. Since the start of the match, he was quite dangerous on the attack, taking shots on goal and making passes. In the second half, Bolaños headed back to collect balls and look for the winner.

Take a look at one of Miller’s shots on goal that you’ll probably spot later next week nominated for MLS Save of the Week:

Just like last week, and the weeks before that, Chivas USA's Goalkeeper Dan Kennedy is nominated for MLS Save of the Week!

In the 55th minute of last Saturday's match at Century Link Field against Seattle Sounders, Steve Zakuani had a run with the ball after receiving a pass from Fredy Montero. Zakuani then attempted to take a shot on goal but Dan was able to take the ball out for a Seattle throw-in.

Although Dan has been nominated in various occasions for Save of the Week, he has yet to earn his first MLS Save of the Week honor. If you'd like to see Dan win the honor this week, don't hesitate in clicking here and casting your vote for Dan.

After opening the scoreboard in last Saturday's Chivas USA game at Seattle, midfielder Nick LaBrocca is nominated for MLS' Goal of the Week. The New Jersey native scored his second goal of the season in the eighth minute of that match off a pass by newcomer Shalrie Joseph (his first assist with the Goats). Aside from his nomination to the league-wide honor, LaBrocca was also selected CDChivasUSA.com's Man of the Match.

Our Man of the Match honor in the game against Seattle goes to none other than Nick LaBrocca. In the eighth minute of the match, LaBrocca was able to open up the scoreboard as he received a pass from teammate Shalrie Joseph. LaBrocca was then able to turn around and strike the ball past Seattle Goalkeeper Michael Gspurning, giving Chivas USA the early lead.

LaBrocca pushed the team throughout the entire game, making passes, crosses and pushing the team forward. Despite crashing into teammate Ben Zemanski in the second half of the match and suffering a bruise on the left side of his face, LaBrocca got back up and continued playing (after being aided by medical staff, of course).

Just like we told you yesterday, Shalrie Joseph appeared in training with a brace on his right elbow. Today, he just had his elbow wrapped during practice and trained throughout the entire session. So, what was the cause of the brace? We spoke to Shalrie and he said it was caused by an awkward fall in last Sunday’s match at San Jose. Luckily, the Red-and-White midfielder says he is feeling a lot better and should be good to play this Saturday at Seattle.

Dan Kennedy might’ve missed out in last week’s MLS Save of the Week, but he’s back again. Although the result wasn’t in favor of the Goats this last Sunday at Buck Shaw Stadium, Kennedy’s saves avoided a much larger goals against number.

Kennedy’s save nominated for this week’s MLS Save of the Week is for one against Marvin Chavez. In the 68th minute of the match, Honduran Marvin Chavez took a shot on goal off a cross; Kennedy, with his cat-like reflexes, was able to push the ball out for a corner kick.

He looked dangerous on the pitch, he created scoring opportunities and, oh yeah, he actually scored two goals tonight. In case you haven’t figured it out, our Man of the Match goes to none other than Shalrie Joseph. Throughout the night, Joseph kept the team in the game, not only with his goals, but with his plays. His first goal of the match came in the 23rd minute when Nick LaBrocca’s corner kick shot found 6-foot-3 Shalrie who was able to head the ball into the back of the net. And can we talk about his celebration of his first goal against his old club? Classy.

Ecuadoran midfielder Miller Bolanos scored the 3-3 equalizer for Chivas USA against New England Revolution in the 47th minute of the match off a header by Casey Townsend. This goal is also Bolanos' second consecutive goal in two games.
