One day before the first SuperClásico of the season, come out and support Chivas USA Supporter Groups Union Ultras and Black Army 1850 as they take on the LA Galaxy Supporter Groups. The Black Army will kick-off the BarraClásico, looking to earn the first victory of the year facing LA Riot Squad at 2pm in The Home Depot Center’s Field 5.
Following the first match, the Ultras will take on Angel City Brigade at 3:30 pm in the same location. Last year, the Ultras defeated ACB in two games, and were received the Supporter’s Cup previous to the First Team’s kick-off game.

The second week of MLS action is history and with that come updates to the MLS Fantasy Leagues!
MLSsoccer.com revealed the Dream Team in Round 2, and, to the surprise of many, two Chivas USA players were included on the list: Juan Agudelo and Edgar Mejia. Each player picked up nine points in the Fantasy League in Week 2; Agudelo’s goal added five points, while Mejia’s attacking and defending bonus helped participants earn nine points.
After Week 2, the top three teams in Chivas USA’s Fantasy League are:
-The Special One (135 points)
-Inglewood City (128 points)
-Frankensteins (128 points)
Fans who take part of the Fantasy League choose 15 MLS players, working with a $100 million budget. One lucky fan will win a trip for two to the 2014 MLS All-Star Game, others will win team merchandise.

This Friday, March 1, Chivas USA will officially introduce the 2013 coaching staff, players, club officials and the new away jersey in a private event. Chivas USA and Chivas Guadalajara’s Sporting President Dennis te Klose will be conducting the presentation where Jose Luis Sanchez Solá, ‘El Chelis,’ will be presented as head coach.
Chivas USA will kick off its ninth season when it hosts the Columbus Crew at The Home Depot Center as part of MLS’ March to Soccer on Saturday, March 2, beginning at 7:30 p.m. (PT). Not all teams give their fans the opportunity to meet, hang out and have a drink with the club head coach. On Saturday evening, Chivas USA and supporter group Union Ultras did just that, hosting the first ‘Chelas with Chelis’ in Pacoima.
Just a few hours after Chivas USA earned a 5-1 victory over the LA Blues, the Red-and-White coach Jose Luis Sanchez Solá joined the Ultras and the ChivaFighter for the ultimate fan experience. Fans had the opportunity to meet, take pictures and have tacos with Chelis. Many took the opportunity the talk to Chelis about team performance and what they could expect in the new season.
In order to participate, interested fans needed to put a $40 down payment for a 2013 season seat. At the end of the event, the Union Ultras were able to recruit six new members that will be supporting the team in Section 101.
